#Startrip: recipe for guacamole and spa at Iberostar Paraíso

After the Secret River excursionWe returned to the resort to attend one of the many activities that the Iberostar Grand Paraíso hotel offers its guests: a cocktail workshop and a workshop to learn how to make guacamole. Here each blogger opted for what attracted him most and for my part I decided that the guacamole threw me more. A chef and two hotel helpers explained to us how to make guacamole classic.

Ingredients to make guacamole

6 ripe avocados
4 tablespoons diced white onion
4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
chopped habanero chili without the seeds according to how spicy we want it
4 tablespoons diced tomatoes but only meat
the juice of two lemons so that it does not rust
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon extra olive oil

Views from the restaurant

In an enormous black stone mortar they had previously crushed the avocado and little by little they were including all the ingredients while with the mallet, which was also made of black stone, they mixed everything well. The truth is that it is simpler than I imagined and the result was excellent. Once finished, we set out to try it with some moles. Delicious.

After preparing the traditional guacamole, they prepared another variant, the Guanajuato style guacamole, which carried fruit. Of this I did not write down the ingredients because my intention was to make a video of the whole process, objective that was truncated when I ran out of memory on the card ... often disaster!

The rest of the group they learned to make daiquiris and daisies, which were also very good. The class was very good, although it also made me a little short.

It was already mid afternoon and at eight o'clock we had the whole group to have dinner at one of the Japanese restaurants in the resort. So with the couple of hours we had free, Eduardo and I decided to go explore the spa and give us a massage courtesy of Iberostar. He resort have a spa that is in the shopping mall. Both the Jacuzzis, like the pools and saunas of spa are open to all customers of the resort.

The massage was very good and I fell practically asleep on the couch. Then, since I didn't have much time before going to dinner, I decided to concentrate on Jacuzzis and in the Roman baths. The sauna was totally discarded, because with the heat in the street, there was no desire for anything to get into a room to shrink.
